At that time, this province had 210 Sisters in 31 Communities serving in the Dioceses of Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Dumka, Raiganj, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Delhi and Lucknow.<\/p>\n

On September 10th, 1995, the Provincial Administration shifted their residence from Tripolia Convent to the newly built Provincial House (belonging to Kurji Parish) in Fairfield Colony, Patna.<\/p>\n

Over the past years (1991-2017), the province grew in number of its members, of communities and fields of apostolate. Every year new members were added to our religious family.\u00a0 We could open new mission stations, and our existing communities could take up new activities.<\/p>\n

Urged by the Lord\u2019s compassionate love, challenged by the need of the time and as sharers in the mystery of Christ\u2019s death and resurrection, we, the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross in India, commit ourselves to proclaiming the good news and work towards creating a new society of wholesome individual persons, families and communities where<\/p>\n
