After a transitional period of several months, the previous General Leadership was bidden farewell in a Eucharistic Service on 07.01.2023. Sr. Marija Brizar returned to her Province in Croatia after 26 years. For the last 14 years she led the Congregation as Superior General. From 1996 to 2008 she was already a General Councilor for two terms. During the solemn Eucharistic Service, gratitude and appreciation were expressed for her great untiring commitment to the worldwide community with 2700 sisters.
After the Eucharistic Service, there was opportunity to say goodbye to Sr. Marija as well as to Sr. Verena Maria Oberhauser, General Assistant from the Province Europa Mitte and the three General Councillors who also handed over their office and who had worked for the Congregation with great commitment for 14 years. They are: Sr. Elsit Ampattu, Province India North East, Sr. Anna Affolter, Province Switzerland and Sr. Lucila Zovak, Province Croatia.
