The 4 sisters of the Amolia community are working under a diocesan parish of the Buxar diocese. They were looking forward to the General Visitation. They consider such occasions to be renewed spiritually and strengthened in their mission as the community is located in an interior place. They were very hospitable and welcoming.
One sister is the Headmistress of the parish school which is up to 7th class and another sister is on the school staff. The girls in the hostel are looked after by the sisters. At the time of the General Visitation, the school was closed due to a Hindu festival. Ample challenges are faced to maintain the number of students in the school.
The Christian families stay far away from the parish making it difficult for them to come to the parish for liturgical services and for sisters to visit the families. Yet they search for ways to visit the people in their locality and to create more rapport with other religious Congregations.
