Holy Cross School in Patel Bagan was opened in 2016. The school is located on the outskirts of Jamshedpur, a steel city. After a rather slow start, around 800 students now attend the English Medium School.
Two sisters and a candidate work as teachers at the school. A third sister has been working for the parish Caritas for around 13 years. The superior of the community is responsible for the work in the surrounding agricultural area. She has succeeded in turning wasteland and jungle into fertile garden land and attractive playgrounds and recreation areas for different age groups.
