General Visitation to Taiwan – more than just a visit

Equipped with good wishes for the journey, Sister Marija Brizar (General Superior) and Sister Verena Maria Oberhauser (General Assistant) started for their flight for their visit to Taiwan from Zurich on March 3rd.

It is the purpose of the General visitation “to strengthen the awareness of belonging together and to deepen the spirit of unity and love within the entire Institute.” (Rule of Life) A visitation brings the sisters into contact with the entire congregation.

General visitation is more than a visit.

The time of general visitation in Taiwan is marked by: encounters, listening, exchanging, sharing in the realities of life of fellow sisters, becoming aware, and spending a certain amount of time with each other …

The journey, first of all, brought the visitors to Taitung-Malän to the Centre of the Vicariate. With joyful  anticipation, the sisters in Taiwan had prepared for this general visitation and gave a hearty welcome to Sister Marija and Sister Verena Maria.
