Community of Sisters at Marianum (27–29 January 2026)

In 1927, the domestic science school was opened at Marianum. Over the past decades, the educational institution on Lake Constance has transformed into a centre for education and training. The educational opportunities include secondary school, grammar school, teachers training, remedial therapy and youth and residential education. Currently, approximately 700 students attend Marianum.

Seven sisters live in the Marianum sisters community. None of the sisters teach at the school anymore. However, there is a close relationship and lively exchange between the teachers and students.

The sisters are active in various areas, such as: in the secretariat of the Provincial Leadership, in public relations at the Maria Hilf nursing home, at the Theodosius Academy, in pilgrims training, and in accompanying and leading the Lebensbaum community.
