The community in Bleichenberg, in the municipality of Biberist, in the Canton of Solothurn, has eleven sisters. Four of them require special care and therefore reside in the Nursing Home of Elisabeth, where there are 40 inmates. The other seven sisters are active in various areas of the community, for example, at the reception desk, in the sacristy, in the grotto, caring for the rabbits, as a beekeeper, accompanying residents in the nursing home, and wherever help is needed. The superior and the assistant superior support the sisters and the staff in their engagements.
They are very grateful that they can celebrate Holy Mass every day except Mondays. The sisters accompany the residents who wish to attend mass and prayers to the chapel. The presence of the sisters is greatly appreciated by the staff in the Nursing home. The sisters reside in the villa.
The park and the grotto, the garden and the whole atmosphere around them are considered an incomparable gift for the sisters, the residents in the Nursing home, and the staff.
