From 17 March to 15 April 2025, all the Sisters of the General Leadership will be on visitation in the Province of Europa Mitte. During this time, the 311 sisters will be visited in their communities and in the respective workplaces.
The aim is to strengthen the awareness of the common bond and to deepen the spirit of unity and love within the entire institute. Each sister is given the opportunity to clarify questions about her spiritual, community and religious life.

Province Europa Mitte
In 2007, the Provinces of Austria, Hungary, Bavaria and the Vicariate of Slovenia were merged to form the Province of Europa Mitte. The provincial house in Wels not only represents the geographical center of the Province of Europa Mitte, but also plays an important historical role: in 1860, Wels was the first place in the then Austrian-Hungarian monarchy where the sisters settled. At present more than 311 sisters live and work in 26 branches in the Province of Europa Mitte.
A provincial leadership team carries the joint leadership responsibility under the motto: “Trusting in God’s Word, being mindful of the present, taking decisive steps into the future.”
